Selections are available in all three of our ground burial Gardens; the Garden of the Christus, the Garden of Devotion, and the Garden of Calvary.
Vaults
A vault is an outer burial container placed in a ground space to accept a casket. The vaulted top provides extra strength to protect the casket from damage that could otherwise be caused by the weight of both the earth and the heavy equipment used to maintain the cemetery.
Burial vaults are constructed of a variety or combination of materials including concrete, stainless steel, copper, bronze, plastic and fiberglass.
Rest Haven requires a vault for every interment.
Rest Haven Memorial Gardens does not accept plastic burial vaults for traditional burial.
We offer and recommend concrete burial vaults exclusively. These massive vaults (weighing well over 2,000 pounds) are reinforced with steel rebar and fiberglass. They are sealed with a thick butyl product which will hold up indefinitely.
In addition to our standard concrete burial vault described above, we also offer an upgraded concrete burial vault with a plastic liner, for even greater protection.
While we offer concert burial vaults exclusively, we do allow the use of burial vaults in 12, 10, and 7 gauge steel offered by area funeral directors.
Memorials
Bronze Memorials
Bronze is the most durable metal known to man. Granite is the most durable, beautiful stone, surpassed only by diamond in terms of hardness. The marriage of these two materials in a bronze-on-granite memorial produces a truly fine memorial.
Unlike other materials, bronze retains heat from the sun, making it warm to the touch. Ice and snow will typically melt off bronze memorials, so family members can enjoy the comfort of knowing the memorial is protected from the elements.
